In the middle of the 1960s, the Municipality of Holstebro laid the foundations for cultural development in the city by purchasing the sculpture entitled “Kvinde på kærre” (Woman on a cart) by Alberto Giacometti. Since then, more works have been added to the collection, and today you can see sculptures all over the city.
